Water, which is essential in our life and the protagonist of our work, is an element utterly absent in some areas of the world where the presence of a well means the difference between life and death. In recent years and through his friend Father Paul, Giovanni Pasinato has started a project in the parish of Moretan, Togo.
The initial objective was to create wells and water lines to distribute water within the community. Citizens of the village were involved in the project that was not “only” aimed at charity but wanted to set a flywheel in motion that, in the future, could turn alone.
Over the years, new wells, a church, a school, and a nursery school have been built. The project has slowly ventured beyond Moretan to neighboring villages and countries.
